Welcome to the Focus 2D Designer Vector Graphics Designer Help Manual.
Everything you draw on the screen with this program (with the exception of text) is a mathematical representation of the a shape referred to as a "path". e.g. The simplest path is a straight line is made up of 2 points, the (x,y) coordinates of the start and the (x,y) coordinates of the end. A rectangle path would have 4 point, and so on. Paths can also be made up of curves. Some examples of paths are shown below.
Paths can be open or closed. If the path is closed, the last point is joined to the first
Paths can have a fill colour and an outline colour. The thickness of the outline can also be set.
